| Art of Life is a heavily orchestrated rock symphony consisting of several parts including a 8-minute piano solo. The solo starts out as a simple melody, but as the solo progresses, several additional piano parts are overdubbed including what seems to be Yoshiki "banging" on the piano. Some see this as a form of improvisation, or as an artistic form of expressing the meaning of the song, as one has to struggle to hear the melody of the song over the banging and dissonant notes. |
